04 Dec 2000TL;DR: In this paper, an air-conditioning circuit of the type comprising a compressor, a condenser, a pressure reducer and an evaporator, which can be flowed through by a cold fluid, is described.
Abstract: An air-conditioning circuit of the type comprising a compressor (10), a condenser (12), a pressure reducer (14) and an evaporator (16) which can be flowed through by a cold fluid, is described. The condenser comprises a first outlet (26) that is connected with a first branch (28) of an internal heat exchanger (30) and a second outlet (32) that is connected via a second pressure reducer with a second branch of the internal heat exchanger. The second branch of the internal heat exchanger is connected downstream of the compressor. The condenser, the internal heat exchanger and the second pressure reducer are designed in the form of a one-piece module (20) which can be installed in the circuit.

04 Aug 2001TL;DR: In this paper, a vehicle windscreen washing system has a water collection device for collection of water from the environment into a collection container, the inner space of which is linked by a connection to a wash water reservoir.
Abstract: Vehicle windscreen washing system has a water collection device (1) for collection of water from the environment into a collection container (2), the inner space of which is linked by a connection (15) to a wash water reservoir (16). A valve (15') blocks the connection when the water reservoir reaches a maximum level (25). A further container (27) contains antifreeze for dosing of the water reservoir and is controlled by a control unit (30) dependent on the external temperature. The device also comprises a filter device for cleaning the collected water.

06 May 2003TL;DR: In this article, an approach sensor, a steering angle sensor and a computer unit are used to detect obstacles in the close-up area around a motor vehicle whereby sensor signals were used to calculate the risk of a collision with an obstacle.
Abstract: Device for monitoring the close-up area around a motor vehicle (8) in order to avoid collisions with obstacles. The device comprises an approach sensor (1), a steering angle sensor (2) and a computer unit (3). An additional path sensor (4) is provided for measuring the distance traveled by the vehicle while the approach sensor is used to detect obstacles to the side of the vehicle. An independent claim is made for a method for detecting obstacles in the close-up area around a motor vehicle whereby sensor signals are used to calculate the risk of a collision with an obstacle.

10 Apr 1995TL;DR: In this paper, the electric motor is part of an electro-mechanical actuating system that is especially applicable to power assisted automotive steering systems, and a phase for monitoring the cooling of the electric motors is carried out when the motor is inoperative in order to produce a value for a restarting temperature.
Abstract: The electric motor is part of an electro-mechanical actuating system that is especially applicable to power assisted automotive steering systems. A phase for monitoring the cooling of the electric motor is carried out when the motor is inoperative in order to produce a value for a restarting temperature. This value is used during an electrical motor thermal control phase when the motor is operative. This prevents the motor from exceeding a maximum permissible temperature.

29 Dec 1997TL;DR: A synchronous electrical machine comprising a rotor and a stator, each having a plurality of notches, where the rotor is a stack of laminations without conductor windings and without permanent magnets, and the stator has magnetizing means defining at least one pair of poles thereon, while the notches of said stator receive at least a secondary winding as discussed by the authors.
