Assessing Machine Learning Techniques for Identifying Field Line Resonance Frequencies From Cross-Phase Spectra

TLDR
This work surveys several supervised ML algorithms for identifying FLR frequencies by using measurements of the European quasi‐Meridional Magnetometer Array and evaluates the algorithm performance on four different station pairs, showing that tree‐based algorithms are robust and accurate models to achieve this goal.

Scaling laws for the energy transfer in space plasma turbulence

TL;DR: A detailed review of the main scaling laws for the energy transfer in plasma turbulence and their application is presented in this article , where the authors present theoretical, numerical and observational milestones for the characterization of turbulent dynamics and energetics in space plasmas.

Automated determination of electron density from electric field measurements on the Van Allen Probes spacecraft

TL;DR: In this paper, a feed-forward neural network is developed to determine the upper hybrid resonance frequency, fuhr, from electric field measurements, which is then used to calculate the electron number density.
