Auditory driven gamma synchrony is associated with cortical thickness in widespread cortical areas

TLDR
In this paper , an association between cortical thickness and gamma synchrony was found for MRI-MEG scans. But the authors did not investigate the relationship between the thickness of the cortical cortex and the duration of gamma synchronization.

Stimulation with acoustic white noise enhances motor excitability and sensorimotor integration

TL;DR: In this article , auditory white noise (WN) is used to mask unwanted environmental noise and cues, e.g. TMS clicks, and improves the sensorimotor performance.

Task matters: Individual MEG signatures from naturalistic and neurophysiological brain states

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors used MEG data from naturalistic and neurophysiological tasks to identify individuals from a population using task-related conduct and showed that identification improves in tasks relative to resting-state, providing compelling evidence for a task dependent axis of MEG signatures.

Altered spread of waves of activities at large scale is influenced by cortical thickness organization in temporal lobe epilepsy: a MRI-hdEEG study

TL;DR: In this paper , the similarity of the cortical thickness of any two brain regions, both across groups, and at the individual level, was quantified using a novel approach to define the personalized covariance network (pCN).

Nonparametric statistical testing of EEG- and MEG-data

TL;DR: This paper forms a null hypothesis and shows that the nonparametric test controls the false alarm rate under this null hypothesis, enabling neuroscientists to construct their own statistical test, maximizing the sensitivity to the expected effect.
