Characterization and studies of some triethanolamine complexes of transition and representative metals

TLDR
The ligand triethanolamine, 2,2′, 2″-nitrilotriethanol, forms air-stable, crystalline complexes with the bi-and the trivalent transition and representative metal salts from chromium to zinc as discussed by the authors.

An investigation of alternative catalytic approaches for the direct synthesis of hydrogen peroxide from hydrogen and oxygen

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the catalytic systems for the direct production of hydrogen peroxide from hydrogen and oxygen, and the factors which make a successful process identified, such as low metal loadings, an organic co-solvent (such as ethanol) and reduced palladium as catalytic metal all lead to good activity and selectivity.

Low-Temperature Hydrothermal Synthesis of Pure BiFeO3 Nanopowders Using Triethanolamine and Their Applications as Visible-Light Photocatalysts

TL;DR: In this article, BFO nanopowders were synthesized at low temperatures via a hydrothermal process with the aid of triethanolamine (TEA) and their structural, optical, and photocatalytic properties were investigated.

Electrochemical Water Oxidation by In Situ-Generated Copper Oxide Film from [Cu(TEOA)(H2O)2][SO4] Complex

TL;DR: A heterogeneous copper oxide film toward water oxidation formed upon the oxidative polarization of an acetate electrolyte containing Earth-abundant Cu(II) salts in combination with commercially available triethanolamine (TEOA) as the catalyst precursor was obtained.

Oximes as spectrophotometric reagents-a review.

TL;DR: The uses of oximes as spectrophotometric reagents since 1953 are reviewed and three new ideas are proposed for further investigation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced heavy metal adsorption on functionalized nanotubular halloysite interlayer grafted with aminoalcohols

TL;DR: In this paper, a 1:1 layered halloysite was modified with diethanolamine and triethanolamine to improve the adsorption performance of the materials and showed that the applied desorption procedure illustrated a complex binding of the metals with the raw and modified materials and that the materials cannot be completely recycled.
