Observation of Nondipole-Induced Asymmetry in the Angular Emission Distribution of Photoelectrons from Fixed-in-Space CO Molecules
TL;DR: In this article , the C and O $1s$ photoionization of fixed-in-space CO molecules at a photon energy of 905 eV was investigated experimentally and theoretically.

Strong-field nonsequential double photoionization using virtual-detector theory with path summation
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors presented an ab initio study of the nonsequential strong-field ionization dynamics of a model two-electron atom with helium character, where the double photoelectron momentum distribution was calculated via coherent path-summation over virtual-particle trajectories and a comparison was made between the momentum distributions obtained with the virtual-detector method, the Schrodinger wave function, and the time-dependent surface flux method developed by Tao and Scrinzi.

Frustrated Double Ionization of Argon Atoms in Strong Laser Fields
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrate kinematically complete measurements on frustrated double ionization of argon atoms in strong laser fields with a reaction microscope and find that the electron trapping probability after strong field double ionisation is much higher than that after strong-field single ionization, especially in case of high laser intensity.

TL;DR: In this article , the authors measured a PT time of (55 ± 20) femtoseconds and image the geometrical rearrangement of the dimer cations during and after PT.

Measuring the influence of the Coulomb binding potential on the trajectories of strong-field driven electronic wave packets
Xinhua Xie,Stefan Roither,Daniil Kartashov,Emil Persson,Li Zhang,Stefanie Gräfe,Markus Schöffler,Matthias Lezius,Joachim Burgdörfer,Andrius Baltuška,Markus Kitzler +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the ionic Coulomb potential is considered only a weak perturbation to the dominant driving force of the laser field, and the influence of the long range Coulomb capacity is properly accounted for.

Can Quantum-Mechanical Description of Physical Reality Be Considered Complete?
TL;DR: Consideration of the problem of making predictions concerning a system on the basis of measurements made on another system that had previously interacted with it leads to the result that one is led to conclude that the description of reality as given by a wave function is not complete.

Time-of-flight mass spectrometer with improved resolution
W. C. Wiley,I. H. McLaren +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a new type of ion gun is described which greatly improves the resolution of a nonmagnetic time-of-flight mass spectrometer, and the focusing action of this gun is discussed and analyzed mathematically.
