Dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction using non-chlorinated, lighter than water solvents for gas chromatography-mass spectrometry determination of fungicides in wine.

TL;DR: The efficiency of the liquid-phase microextraction process was scarcely affected by the characteristics of wine samples, consequently pseudo-external standard calibration (using matrix matched standards of red and white wine) sufficed to achieve acceptable accuracy values: relative recoveries from 81 to 120%.

Photocatalytic degradation and mineralization of diazinon in aqueous solution using nano-TiO2(Degussa, P25): kinetic and statistical analysis

TL;DR: In this paper, the photocatalytic degradation of diazinon was investigated using nano-TiO2, Degussa P25, as a photocatalyst and the effects of some operational parameters such as aeration, pH and irradiation time were also examined.

Micro solid phase extraction of cadmium and lead on a new ion-imprinted hierarchical mesoporous polymer via dual-template method in river water and fish muscles: Optimization by experimental design.

TL;DR: A new class of hierarchical silica based imprinted mesoporous polymers was fabricated by ion imprinting technology and it was applied to simultaneous selective extraction of cadmium and lead ions by micro solid phase extraction (μ-SPE).

Solvent microextraction into a single drop.

TL;DR: An analytical technique is described which combines solvent extraction with gas chromatographic (GC) analysis in a simple and inexpensive apparatus involving very little solvent consumption and is in good agreement with a convective-diffusive kinetic model.

Liquid-Phase Microextraction in a Single Drop of Organic Solvent by Using a Conventional Microsyringe

TL;DR: In this article, two modes of liquid-phase microextraction (LPME) were developed for capillary gas chromatography, i.e., static and dynamic LPME, which involve the use of very small amounts of organic solvent in a conventional microsyringe.

Mass Transfer Characteristics of Solvent Extraction into a Single Drop at the Tip of a Syringe Needle

TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured the amount of a sample compound extracted into a 1-μL drop of n-octane suspended in a stirred aqueous solution from the tip of a microsyringe needle.
