TL;DR: Fibres reacting with antisera raised against neurophysin A (vasopressin-neurophysin) were observed in the medial bank of frontal cortex, the anterior hippocampal rudiment, the rostral extension of substantia innominata lying between nucleus accumbens and olfactory tubercle, bed nucleus of stria terminalis and lateral preoptic area.

Forebrain lesions differentially affect drinking elicited by dipsogenic challenges and injections of muscimol into the median raphe nucleus.
TL;DR: Only the SFO- and LH-lesioned groups showed a suppression of drinking to systemic injections of angiotensin II, suggesting that the drinking elicited by intra-MR injections of muscimol may involve changes in the central circuits mediating ang Elliotensin-induced drinking.
