Functions of innovation systems: A new approach for analysing technological change

TLDR
It is described that the emergence of a new innovation system and changes in existing innovation systems co-evolve with the process of technological change, and a method for systematically mapping those processes taking place in innovation systems and resulting in technological change is proposed.

Comparing expert elicitation and model-based probabilistic technology cost forecasts for the energy transition

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compare the performance of several forecasting methods by generating probabilistic technology cost forecasts rooted at various years in the past and then comparing these with observed costs in 2019.

Multi-layered foresight: Lessons from regional foresight in Chile

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors propose the concept of multi-layered foresight, which analyses the contributions of foresight to knowledge, relations and capabilities on four layers: landscape, system, organisation and individual.

The Role of Innovation Intermediaries in Innovation Systems

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the role of innovation intermediaries in sector-specific regional innovation systems and discussed the potential of enabling innovation intermediary to play a more strategic role in regional innovation system.

Effects of multi-stakeholder platforms on multi-stakeholder innovation networks: Implications for research for development interventions targeting innovations at scale

TL;DR: It is argued that investigating multi-stakeholder innovation network characteristics targeted by the MSP using a network approach in early implementation can contribute to better performance in generating and scaling innovations, and that funding can be an effective implementation tool in developing country contexts.
