Integration of hydrogels with functional nanoparticles using hydrophobic comb-like polymers as an adhesive layer

TL;DR: A ubiquitous strategy to functionalize the surfaces of hydrogels with functional nanoparticles is reported, taking advantage of quaternization reactions confined to hydrogel/oil immiscible interfaces and expected to provide a general strategy for the fabrication of multifunctional Hydrogels.
Journal ArticleDOI

Multilayered architecture of graphene nanosheets and MnO2 nanowires as an electrode material for high-performance supercapacitors

TL;DR: In this paper, a multilayered graphene/MnO2 nanocomposite electrode was used for anodic electrodeposition and electrophoresis and it exhibited superior capacitive behavior compared to the bare MnO2 and graphene electrodes.
