Abstract
A wide range of heterocyclic sulfur-nitrogen and selenium-nitrogen radicals have been characterized in recent years. Synthetic routes to these materials are summarized, and the modes of association which they exhibit in the solid state are illustrated. The potential use of these radicals as building blocks for low-dimensional molecular conductors is outlined, and some strategies for generating specific solid state architectures are explored. Recent attempts to prepare conductive materials from custom-built bifunctional 1, 2, 3, 5-dithia- and diselenadiazolyls are described.

Ferromagnetic ordering in bisthiaselenazolyl radicals: variations on a tetragonal theme.

TL;DR: Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate that antiferromagnetic exchange between radicals along the pi-stacks increases with pi-stack slippage, and the origin of the dramatically different magnetic behavior across the series has been explored in terms of a direct through-space mechanism by means of DFT calculations on individual pairwise exchange energies.

[CS3N2Br]+Br 3− – ein Produkt der Bromierung von S4N4 in Schwefelkohlenstoff

TL;DR: In this article, a Bromination product of S4N4 in Carbon Disulfide (CS3N2Br]+Br is reported. The structure of the latter compound is confirmed by X-ray analysis as a cation which shows an almost flat CS2N2 five-membered ring with an SBr group bonded exocyclically to the carbon atom.
