Effect of the number of iron oxide nanoparticle layers on the magnetic properties of nanocomposite LbL assemblies

TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetic properties of polyelectrolyte/iron oxide nanoparticle thin films with different numbers of iron oxide nanoparticles layers have been prepared on the surface of silicon substrates via the layer-by-layer assembly technique.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tunable and enhanced Rashba spin-orbit coupling in iridate-manganite heterostructures

TL;DR: In this article, a platform for engineering magnetism and spin-orbit coupling at the oxide interface was proposed, where the spin relaxation mechanism varies with magnetic behavior of the underlying oxide layer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, characterization and magnetic behavior of Mg-Fe-Al mixed oxides based on layered double hydroxide $

TL;DR: In this paper, Mg-Al-Fe layered double hydroxides were prepared by coprecipitation reaction with hydrothermal treatment, and the characterization of precursors and their corresponding calcinated products (mixed oxides) were carried out by X ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), termogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry, diffuse reflectance UV-vis spectrograph, specific surface area, Mossbauaer and magnetic properties.

Glide symmetry breaking and Ising criticality in the quasi-1D magnet CoNb2O6.

TL;DR: A microscopic Hamiltonian is proposed that reproduces the entirety of the experimental phenomenology of the quasi-1D Ising magnet CoNb2O6 and gives a unified microscopic explanation of the dispersion of confined states in the ordered phase and quasiparticle breakdown in the polarized phase at high transverse field.

Role of Zr–Co substitution at iron site on structural, magnetic and electrical properties of Sr-hexaferrites nanomaterials synthesized by the sol–gel combustion method

TL;DR: In this article, the phase purity of the nanomaterials was confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis and the crystallite size was found in the range of 31-45nm.
