Residual stress characterization of steel TIG welds by neutron diffraction and by residual magnetic stray field mappings

TL;DR: In this article, the residual stress distribution of tungsten inert gas welded S235JRC+C plates was determined by means of neutron diffraction (ND), and large longitudinal residual stresses with maxima around 600 MPa were found.

Superparamagnetism in MgO-based magnetic tunnel junctions with a thin pinned ferromagnetic electrode

TL;DR: In this article, an inverted tunneling magnetoresistance is observed due to the unbalanced synthetic antiferromagnetic CoFe/Ru/CoFeB stack, and an abnormal temperature dependence of the junction resistance is associated with superparamagnetism when the thermal fluctuation energy exceeds the magnetic anisotropy energy.

Effect of cobalt addition on the microstructural evolution, thermal stability and magnetic properties of Fe-based amorphous alloys

TL;DR: The role of cobalt and its influence on the structure and thermal and magnetic performance of a Fe1-xCox (77Si8B10P5) system with x 0, 0.2 and 0.4 was investigated as discussed by the authors.
