NANOCRYSTALLINE ZnSe FILMS PREPARED BY HIGH PRESSURE MAGNETRON SPUTTERING

TLDR
In this article, nanocrystalline ZnSe films were deposited onto glass, quartz and NaCl substrates by sputtering of a znSe target in argon plasma and optical, microstructural, and photoluminescence studies were carried out in order to understand the quantization effect, along with optical absorption and emission processes, in the material in nanocrystine form.

Theory of the linear and nonlinear optical properties of semiconductor microcrystallites

TL;DR: In the limit of a QD much smaller than the bulk exciton size, the linear spectrum will be a series of lines, and the phonon broadening of these lines is considered.

General Sonochemical Method for the Preparation of Nanophasic Selenides: Synthesis of ZnSe Nanoparticles

TL;DR: In this article, ZnSe nanoparticles of about 3 nm in size have been prepared by the sonochemical irradiation of an aqueous solution of selenourea and zinc acetate under argon.

Nanocrystalline CdTe films deposited by high-pressure sputtering: carrier transport at low temperature

TL;DR: In this paper, electrical conductivities of nanocrystalline CdTe films deposited onto quartz substrates by high-pressure (~20 Pa) DC magnetron sputtering were studied as a function of temperature.

Effect of substrate temperature and post-deposition annealing on the properties of evaporated CdSe thin films

TL;DR: The structural, morphological and optical properties of vacuum-evaporated CdSe thin films were investi gated as a function of the substrate temperature and the post-deposition annealing conditions as discussed by the authors.

Quantum-size effects of interacting electrons and holes in semiconductor microcrystals with spherical shape

TL;DR: In this article, an extensive numerical calculation for the eigenvalue problem is carried out by Ritz's variational technique, and the motional state of the lowest level is classified into three regimes: the regime of exciton confinement for R/${a}_{B}^{\mathrm{*}}$\ensuremath{\gtrsim}4, the regime for individual particle confinement forR/${b}^{*}+1.2.
