TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetic profiles of low-Mach-number collisionless shocks in space plasmas are studied within the two-fluid plasma theory and the dependence of the oscillation amplitude and spatial damping scale on the shock normal angle is found.

Charged Particle Acceleration by Electrostatic Turbulent Structures in Regions with Field-Aligned Electric Current in the Auroral Magnetosphere

TL;DR: In this article, the action of such structures on charged particles is studied taking into account slight inhomogeneity of magnetic field. And the estimate of energy shows that a strong plasma turbulence can effectively accelerate charged particles of both signs.

TL;DR: In this article, the evolution and partition of initially small phaseuncertainties (or perturbations) of individual modes in nonlinear systems of waves were studied and the characteristic times were estimated for the transfer of phase-uncertainty between the different interacting modes as well as for the growth (or dissipation) of phase uncertainty of each mode in stable and nonlinearly unstable situations.

Nonlinear Landau Damping of Alfven Waves and the Production and Propagation of Cosmic Rays

TL;DR: The existence of hydromagnetic waves (waves whose frequency ω is less than the ion gyrofrequency Ω) in a collisionless magnetized plasma with s, the ratio of plasma pressure to magnetic pressure, much greater than unity is required in theories for Fermi acceleration of cosmic rays by converging scattering centres at a shock front as discussed by the authors.
