TLDR
An ideal text for an upper-level undergraduate or first-year graduate course, Nonparametric Statistical Methods, Second Edition is also an invaluable source for professionals who want to keep abreast of the latest developments within this dynamic branch of modern statistics.
Abstract
This Second Edition of Myles Hollander and Douglas A. Wolfe's successful Nonparametric Statistical Methods meets the needs of a new generation of users, with completely up-to-date coverage of this important statistical area. Like its predecessor, the revised edition, along with its companion ftp site, aims to equip readers with the conceptual and technical skills necessary to select and apply the appropriate procedures for a given situation. An extensive array of examples drawn from actual experiments illustrates clearly how to use nonparametric approaches to handle one- or two-sample location and dispersion problems, dichotomous data, and one-way and two-way layout problems. An ideal text for an upper-level undergraduate or first-year graduate course, Nonparametric Statistical Methods, Second Edition is also an invaluable source for professionals who want to keep abreast of the latest developments within this dynamic branch of modern statistics.

Growth Hormone (GH) Dose-Response in Young Adults with Childhood-Onset GH Deficiency: A Two-Year, Multicenter, Multiple-Dose, Placebo-Controlled Study

TL;DR: This dose-response study confirms the benefits of GH-replacement therapy in GHD adults and indicates that, to achieve treatment goals in younger adults, higher doses may be needed than those generally used in older adults.

Differential accumulation of cholesterol in Golgi compartments of normal and Niemann-Pick type C fibroblasts incubated with LDL: a cytochemical freeze-fracture study.

TL;DR: The ability of cells to process endocytosed cholesterol may in part depend on modulation of cholesterol-enriched membrane transport through the Golgi, a function which appears to be defective in NP-C cells.

Circadian and Circalunar Clock Interactions in a Marine Annelid

TL;DR: In this article, a marine worm Platynereis dumerilii possesses endogenous circadian and circalunar (monthly) clocks and their interactions with other periods is investigated.

Uptake of d-aspartate and l-glutamate in excitatory axon terminals in hippocampus: Autoradiographic and biochemical comparison with γ-aminobutyrate and other amino acids in normal rats and in rats with lesions

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that uptake sites for D-aspartate and L-glutamate are highly localized in axon terminals of regio inferior pyramidal cells and in perforant path afferents, including the axosomatic terminals of basket cells.

A Scalable Open-Source Pipeline for Large-Scale Root Phenotyping of Arabidopsis

TL;DR: It is found that loss of function and overexpression of this gene can significantly alter root growth in a growth condition dependent manner and that the minor natural allele of the Calcium Sensor Receptor locus is highly significantly enriched in populations in coastal areas, demonstrating the power of the approach to identify regulators of root growth that might have adaptive relevance.
