TLDR
In this article, a method involving inspection has been devised for deriving the angular values about an axis [hkI] in the cubic system which will lead to a coincidence-site lattice relationship.
Abstract
A method involving inspection has been devised for deriving the angular values about an axis [hkI] in the cubic system which will lead to a coincidence-site lattice relationship. The idea of a generating function is used here in an extension of the procedures evolved by Frank for [100] and [111] rotations and by Dunn for [110] rotations.

Quantitative observation of misfit dislocation arrays in low and high angle twist grain boundaries

TL;DR: In this article, the fine structure of (001) twist boundaries in gold was systematically studied by transmission electron microscopy, and about 200 such boundaries were prepared under controlled conditions by welding single crystal films together face-to-face at various twist angles.

Lattice match: An application to heteroepitaxy

A. Zur, +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the concept of lattice match for any pair of crystal lattices in any given crystal direction, allowing for a periodic reconstruction of the interface, is defined and an algorithm for a systematic search for all possible matches is developed, and some examples of nonstandard lattice matches are given for CdTe on GaAs and sapphire.

The measurement of grain boundary geometry

TL;DR: A survey of grain boundary geometry investigations can be found in this paper, where the authors discuss the importance of grain boundaries in polycrystals grain boundary structure and "special" boundaries.

Genesis of presolar diamonds: Comparative high-resolution transmission electron microscopy study of meteoritic and terrestrial nano-diamonds

TL;DR: In this article, the microstructures of presolar diamond crystallites were compared to those of (terrestrial) synthesized nano-diamonds using high-resolution transmission electron microscopy.

The Theory of Numbers 1

TL;DR: This article found himself to-day in the same embarrassing position in which a predecessor of mine at Oxford found himself at Bradford in 1875, the president of a Section, probably the largest and most heterogeneous in the Association, which is absorbed by a multitude of divergent professional interests, none of which agree with his or mine.
