TLDR
In this article, approximate solutions for the rate of solution by diffusion of a gas bubble in an undersaturated liquid-gas solution are presented, with the neglect of the translational motion of the bubble.
Abstract
With the neglect of the translational motion of the bubble, approximate solutions may be found for the rate of solution by diffusion of a gas bubble in an undersaturated liquid‐gas solution; approximate solutions are also presented for the rate of growth of a bubble in an oversaturated liquid‐gas solution. The effect of surface tension on the diffusion process is also considered.

Investigation of bubble dynamics and heating during focused ultrasound insonation in tissue-mimicking materials

TL;DR: In this article, limits on the asymptotic bubble size distribution were obtained for different driving pressures at 1 MHz and the size distributions were bounded by two thresholds: the bubble shape instability threshold and the rectified diffusion threshold.

Polyhedral Bubble Vibrations

TL;DR: In this article, the vibration of polyhedral bubbles with a low number of faces, shaped as the five Platonic solids, was explored and the results were extended to shapes with a larger number of face using fullerenes, paving the way to obtain arbitrary large resonant bubbles.

Mass Transfer of Gas Bubbles Rising in Stagnant Water

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented an analytical study of mass transfer from a single bubble rising in stagnant water and its size variation, and established a model for bubble-water mass transfer.

The Dynamics of Cavitation Bubbles

TL;DR: In this paper, three regimes of liquid flow over a body are defined, namely: (a) noncavitating flow, (b) cavitating flow with a relatively small number of cavitation bubbles in the field of flow, and (c) caviting flow with one large cavity about the body.
