TLDR
In this article, approximate solutions for the rate of solution by diffusion of a gas bubble in an undersaturated liquid-gas solution are presented, with the neglect of the translational motion of the bubble.
Abstract
With the neglect of the translational motion of the bubble, approximate solutions may be found for the rate of solution by diffusion of a gas bubble in an undersaturated liquid‐gas solution; approximate solutions are also presented for the rate of growth of a bubble in an oversaturated liquid‐gas solution. The effect of surface tension on the diffusion process is also considered.

Wetting of Heterogeneous Nanopatterned Inorganic Surfaces

TL;DR: In this paper, water contact angle measurements were used to investigate the wetting of heterogeneous nanopatterned surfaces composed of an ultrathin TiO2 layer homogeneously perforated by nanocraters through which the surface of the substrate (SiO2 or Au) is accessible.

Dynamics of growth or dissolution of a gas bubble

TL;DR: In this article, the dynamics of growth or dissolution of a gas bubble in an infinite liquid, subject to arbitrarily prescribed initial and boundary conditions, are studied. And the convergence of the series solution is considered and proved.

Inertial cavitation produced by pulsed ultrasound in controlled host media

TL;DR: Experimental results show that the threshold of inertial cavitation increases with increasing viscosity, consistent with theoretical predictions.

Programmable assembly of heterogeneous microparts by an untethered mobile capillary microgripper.

TL;DR: A mobile capillary microgripper that is able to pick and place parts of various materials and geometries, and is thus ideal for microassembly tasks that cannot be accomplished by large tethered manipulators is reported.

Effect of ultrasound on adsorption of Geniposide on polymeric resin.

TL;DR: Pulse ultrasound can enhance both liquid film diffusion and intraparticle diffusion, and the intensification of liquidFilm diffusion with pulse ultrasound is stronger than that of intraparticles diffusion.

The Dynamics of Cavitation Bubbles

TL;DR: In this paper, three regimes of liquid flow over a body are defined, namely: (a) noncavitating flow, (b) cavitating flow with a relatively small number of cavitation bubbles in the field of flow, and (c) caviting flow with one large cavity about the body.
