In this article, a two-photon optical imaging experiment was performed based on the quantum nature of the signal and idler photon pairs produced in spontaneous parametric down-conversion, where an aperture placed in front of a fixed detector is illuminated by the signal beam through a convex lens.Abstract:
A two-photon optical imaging experiment was performed based on the quantum nature of the signal and idler photon pairs produced in spontaneous parametric down-conversion. An aperture placed in front of a fixed detector is illuminated by the signal beam through a convex lens. A sharp magnified image of the aperture is found in the coincidence counting rate when a mobile detector is scanned in the transverse plane of the idler beam at a specific distance in relation to the lens.read more

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors discuss the case in which the two correlated beams of light are generated by spontaneous parametric down-conversion and discuss its resolution and depth-of-field limits.

Optical encryption scheme based on ghost imaging with disordered speckles
TL;DR: An optical encryption scheme based on a ghost imaging system with disordered speckles is proposed to obtain a higher security with a small key and when the eavesdropping ratio is less than 40%, the eavesdropper cannot acquire any useful information.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a computational ghost imaging (CGI) scheme based on a rearranged Hadamard matrix (HCGI), where a decomposition method is first introduced to construct a speckle pattern sequence that can be displayed on the digital micromirror device.

Ghost imaging based on Pearson correlation coefficients
TL;DR: In this article, a more rigorous and general approach was proposed to retrieve a ghost image by calculating a Pearson correlation coefficient between the bucket detector intensity and the brightness at a given pixel of the reference frames, and at the next pixel, and so on.
