TLDR
The X-ray crystallography data indicate that the basic crystalline structure of the cellulosic component of corn stover is not altered by the ARP treatment, and low-liquid ARP can reduce the liquid throughput and residence time to 3.3 mL/g-biomass and 10-12 min, without adversely affecting the overall effectiveness.About:

Bioethanol production from hydrothermally pretreated Eucalyptus globulus wood.
TL;DR: Both the fraction of cellulose susceptible to Hydrolysis and the hydrolysis rate increased with the severity of the pre-treatments, but the overall glucose yield decreased for substrates pretreated at T(MAX) above 220 degrees C owing to cellulose losses.
Effects of thermo-chemical pre-treatment on anaerobic biodegradability and hydrolysis of lignocellolosic biomass
TL;DR: It was concluded that when the lignin content of the plant material is high, thermo-chemical pre-treatments have a positive effect on the biodegradability of the substrate.

Fundamental factors affecting biomass enzymatic reactivity.
TL;DR: An empirical model was identified that describes the roles of lignin content, acetyl contents, and crystallinity indices in enzymatic hydrolysis and the digestibility of several lime-treated biomass samples agreed with the empirical model.

Pretreatment of corn stover by aqueous ammonia.
TL;DR: Corn stover was pretreated with aqueous ammonia in a flow-through column reactor, a process termed ammonia recycled percolation (ARP), and the enzymatic digestibility was related with the removal of lignin and hemicellulose, perhaps due to increased surface area and porosity.

Evaluation of cellulase recycling strategies for the hydrolysis of lignocellulosic substrates.
TL;DR: Three recycling strategies were evaluated to determine their efficiencies over five successive rounds of hydrolysis and, in all three of the recycling strategies, lower cellulase activities were recovered from the substrates with higher lignin contents.
