Assessment of Emerging Contaminants in a Drinking Water Reservoir

TL;DR: In this article, the authors have assessed the emerging contaminants (ECs) in a drinking water reservoir in Chennai, India using LC-MS/MS and found that 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4D), a herbicide, had the highest concentration of 0.13 mg/L followed by 1,2 Dibromo 3 chloro propane (DBCP), a pesticide, with a concentration of0.12mg/L.
