Systematic in vitro comparison of decellularization protocols for blood vessels.

TL;DR: Comparing the decellularization and recellularization efficacy of 5 different protocols utilizing the detergents sodium dodecyl sulfate, sodium deoxycholate, SDS, SDC, CHAPS and TritonX together with DNA-removing enzymes on porcine vena cava in a perfusion bioreactor setup found that all protocols could efficiently de cellularize blood vessels.
