Journal ArticleDOI

Synergistic effect of silicate clay and phosphazene-oxyalkyleneamines on thermal stability of cured epoxies.

TL;DR: Amine substitution of hexachlorocyclophosphazene (HCP) with poly(oxypropylene)diamines (POP) afforded HCP-POP adducts which were subsequently intercalated into a layered silicate clay.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thermal properties of Halloysite nanotubes (HNTs) intercalation complexes-A review

TL;DR: In this paper, the layered structure of halloysite nanotubes (HNTs) intercalated by dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), potassium acetate (KAc), N-methylformamide (NMF), urea and acrylamide (AM) was reviewed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Factors influencing the excited-state behavior of ruthenium(II) complexes adsorbed on aqueous laponite

TL;DR: In this article, the enthalpy of displacement of sodium p(2-decyl)benzenesulfonate at a water/Bentheim sandstone interface is low and of the order of -5 kJ/mol.
Journal ArticleDOI

INTERACTION OF VERMICULITE WITH ALIPHATIC AMIDES (FORMAMIDE, ACETAMIDE AND PROPIONAMIDE): FORMATION AND STUDY OF INTERSTRATIFIED PHASES IN THE TRANSFORMATION OF Mg- TO NH4-VERMICULITE

TL;DR: In this article, the NH 4- vermiculite, Mg-vermiculites and interstratified (mixed-layer)~phases have been identified from basal X-ray diffraction (XRD) interval peaks between 10,3 and 14,4 A, and confirmed by direct Fourier transform method, as well as by atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS), infrared (IR) spectroscopy and thermal analysis.
