The pilot study.
TLDR
A randomized controlled experiment is designed to test whether access to affordable day care (in the form of subsidies, for example) would incentivize Saudi mothers to search actively for employment and to remain employed once they are hired.Abstract:
This pilot aims to better understand the market for childcare in Saudi Arabia – both the supply and demand sides – and to design a randomized controlled experiment to test whether access to affordable day care (in the form of subsidies, for example) would incentivize Saudi mothers to search actively for employment and to remain employed once they are hired. In addition, the study seeks to understand the degree to which employment early on in one’s life impacts employment in later stages. The pilot will provide information on the groups of women the experiment should target, appropriate levels for the childcare subsidy, and the quality and current geographic locations of daycare sites. Expected Impact Determine the effects of facilitating childcare access on Saudi women’s employment. TL;DR: Although a significant number of aspects of care have relatively weak support, evidence-based recommendations regarding the acute management of sepsis and septic shock are the foundation of improved outcomes for these critically ill patients with high mortality.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that metabolism by intestinal microbiota of dietary l-carnitine, a trimethylamine abundant in red meat, also produces TMAO and accelerates atherosclerosis in mice, and intestinal microbiota may contribute to the well-established link between high levels of red meat consumption and CVD risk.

Critical periods of vulnerability for the developing nervous system: evidence from humans and animal models.

TL;DR: Of critical concern is the possibility that developmental exposure to neurotoxicants may result in an acceleration of age-related decline in function, and the fact that developmental neurotoxicity that results in small effects can have a profound societal impact when amortized across the entire population and across the life span of humans.
