Imination of Sulfides and Sulfoxides with Sulfonylimino‐λ3‐Bromane under Mild, Metal‐Free Conditions

TL;DR: Calculations suggest a bimolecular nucleophilic-substitution mechanism on the negatively charged nitrogen atom of the sulfonylimino-lambda(3)-bromane, which involves the attack of a sulfide from the opposite side to bromine(III).
Journal ArticleDOI

New classes of carborane-appended 5-thio-D-glucopyranose derivatives.

TL;DR: The carborane-appended 5-thio-D-glucopyranose derivatives containing one to two 5-TDGP moieties showed excellent promise for it to be a candidate for further evaluation as a future BNCT agent.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synergistic Effects Between Thioxanthones and Oxacillin Against Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus

TL;DR: Two thioxanthone derivatives with different profiles may be promising tools for restoring the activity of oxacillin against MRSA.
Journal ArticleDOI

Development and validation of a solid-phase extraction and gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method for the determination of isopropyl-9H-thioxanthen-9-one in carton packaged milk.

TL;DR: A simple and efficient method for the determination of isopropyl-9H-thioxanten-9-one (ITX) in different fat content milk samples and baby milk samples stored in packaged cartons was developed and validated and successfully applied to analyse a number of commercial milk samples.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and structure-activity relationships of selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (sNRI) with a heterocyclic ring constraint.

TL;DR: The design, synthesis and SAR of a series of heterocyclic ring-constrained norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors are described and the best compounds compare favorably with atomoxetine (IC(50)'s<10 nM) in potency at the transporter.
