Ti 2p and O 1s core levels and chemical bonding in titanium-bearing oxides
TLDR
In this paper, a set of available experimental data on the binding energies of Ti 2p3/2 and O 1s core levels in titanium-bearing oxides has been presented by using the binding energy difference (O 1s−Ti 2p 3/2) as a robust parameter to characterize these compounds.About:

Mariyappan Sathiya,Mariyappan Sathiya,Artem M. Abakumov,Dominique Foix,Dominique Foix,Gwenaëlle Rousse,Gwenaëlle Rousse,Gwenaëlle Rousse,Kannadka Ramesha,Matthieu Saubanère,Matthieu Saubanère,Marie-Liesse Doublet,Marie-Liesse Doublet,Hervé Vezin,Laisa Cp,Prakash As,Prakash As,Danielle Gonbeau,Danielle Gonbeau,VanTendeloo G,Jean-Marie Tarascon,Jean-Marie Tarascon +21 more
TL;DR: The migration of cations between metal layers and Li layers is an intrinsic feature of the charge-discharge process that increases the trapping of metal ions in interstitial tetrahedral sites and provides insights into new chemistry to be explored for developing high-capacity layered electrodes that evade voltage decay.
