Towards cost-effective indicators to maintain Natura 2000 sites in favourable conservation status. Preliminary results from Cansiglio and New Forest
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors identify appropriate indicators to maintain favourable conservation status, and to evaluate their relative cost-effectiveness for two selected Natura 2000 sites: the Cansiglio Forest (North Italy) and the New Forest (South England).

The initial responses of some tropical rain forest tree seedlings to a large gap environment.
I. M. Turner,Adrian C. Newton +1 more
TL;DR: This article measured the leaf temperature and stomatal conductance of seedlings grown in the shade characteristic at ground level in tropical rain forest, following the simulated formation of a large canopy gap over the seedlings.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mutant instability in Septoria nodorum
TL;DR: Mutant instability in Septoria nodorum was investigated by comparing reversion rates of spontaneous and mutagen (NTG)-induced mutants, and all the NTG-induced mutants reverted to wild type, while only half the spontaneous mutants in the same genes reverted.
