Journal ArticleDOI

Identification of distinct nanoparticles and subsets of extracellular vesicles by asymmetric flow field-flow fractionation.

TL;DR: It is shown that AF4 can serve as an improved analytical tool for isolating extracellular vesicles and addressing the complexities of heterogeneous nanoparticle subpopulations, and three nanoparticle subsets demonstrated diverse organ biodistribution patterns, suggesting distinct biological functions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Iron(III) citrate speciation in aqueous solution.

TL;DR: The aqueous speciation of ferric citrate has been investigated by mass spectrometry and EPR spectroscopy and the most relevant species are a monoiron dicitrate species and dinuclear and trinuclear oligomeric complexes, the relative concentration of which depends on the solution pH value and the iron : citric acid molar ratio.
Journal ArticleDOI

Post-translational Modifications and Mass Spectrometry Detection

TL;DR: This review analyzed all the PTM data introduced in the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) and the literature published in the last three years to ascertain the state of the art in mass spectrometry and proteomics methodologies for the study of PTMs.
