Nicolas Chenouard,Ihor Smal,Fabrice de Chaumont,Martin Maška,Martin Maška,Ivo F. Sbalzarini,Yuanhao Gong,Janick Cardinale,Craig Carthel,Stefano Coraluppi,Mark R. Winter,Andrew R. Cohen,William J. Godinez,Karl Rohr,Yannis Kalaidzidis,Liang Liang,James S. Duncan,Hongying Shen,Yingke Xu,Klas E. G. Magnusson,Joakim Jalden,Helen M. Blau,Perrine Paul-Gilloteaux,Philippe Roudot,Charles Kervrann,François Waharte,Jean-Yves Tinevez,Spencer L. Shorte,Joost Willemse,Katherine Celler,Gilles P. van Wezel,Han-Wei Dan,Yuh-Show Tsai,Carlos Ortiz de Solórzano,Jean-Christophe Olivo-Marin,Erik Meijering +35 more
TL;DR: Although no single method performed best across all scenarios, the results revealed clear differences between the various approaches, leading to notable practical conclusions for users and developers.
Journal ArticleDOI
Applying systems-level spectral imaging and analysis to reveal the organelle interactome
Alex M. Valm,Sarah Cohen,Wesley R. Legant,Justin Melunis,Uri Hershberg,Eric Wait,Andrew R. Cohen,Michael W. Davidson,Eric Betzig,Jennifer Lippincott-Schwartz +9 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that each organelle has a characteristic distribution and dispersion pattern in three-dimensional space and that there is a reproducible pattern of contacts among the six organelles, that is affected by microtubule and cell nutrient status.
Patent
System and method for the distribution and synchronization of data and state information between clients in a distributed processing system
Kipley J. Olson,Andrew R. Cohen +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a novel system and method for sharing common data and state information between network connected application clients participating in an application session, where each client is always operating on a common set of application data.
Patent
Methods for performing client-hosted application sessions in distributed processing systems
Andrew R. Cohen,Kipley J. Olson +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe a client-hosted application session in distributed processing systems, where the application data includes a unique identifier assigned by the host client for each application client in the application session.
Journal ArticleDOI
Computational prediction of neural progenitor cell fates.
Andrew R. Cohen,Andrew R. Cohen,Francisco L. A. F. Gomes,Badrinath Roysam,Michel Cayouette,Michel Cayouette +5 more
TL;DR: A computational method, based on algorithmic information theory, is presented, to analyze dynamic features of living cells over time and asked whether rat retinal progenitor cells display characteristic phenotypes before undergoing mitosis that could foretell their fate.
