A step-by-step synthesis of triazole-benzimidazole-chalcone hybrids: Anticancer activity in human cells+

TL;DR: In this article, a series of triazole-benzimidazile-chalcone hybrid compounds have been synthesized via click chemistry, between different azide derivatives and substituted benzimide terminal alkynes bearing a chalcone moiety.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characterization of phenolic constituents and evaluation of antioxidant properties of leaves and stems of Eriocephalus africanus

TL;DR: In this article, the main phenolic composition of hydroethanolic extracts from stems and leaves of E. africanus, along with the assessment of their antioxidant properties were described.
Journal ArticleDOI

The endocannabinoid system expression in the female reproductive tract is modulated by estrogen

TL;DR: Examination of gene transcription and protein levels by qPCR, Western blot and immunohistochemistry indicate that the expression of ECS components, as well as, the AEA and PGE2 levels in rat uterus is modulated by EB, suggesting that estradiol may have a direct regulatory role in the modulation of E CS in female reproductive tissues.
Journal ArticleDOI

[60]Fullerene–flavonoid dyads

TL;DR: In this article, a range of fullerene-chromone dyads were prepared by 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reactions of azomethine ylides to C60 and by cyclopropanation of C60 with flavonyl malonates.
Journal ArticleDOI

3(5)‐(2‐Hydroxyphenyl)‐5(3)‐styrylpyrazoles: Synthesis and Diels−Alder Transformations

TL;DR: In this paper, the first cycloaddition reactions between ortho-benzoquinodimethane and either 3-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-5-styryl pyrazoles or 5-(2.5]-1-phenyl-3-styrrpyrazoles were described.
