Synthetic Approach Toward Heterocyclic Hybrids of [1,2,4]Triazolo[3,4-b][1,3,4]thiadiazines
Nawel Lechani,Maamar Hamdi,Baya Kheddis-Boutemeur,Oualid Talhi,Yacine Laichi,Khaldoun Bachari,Artur M. S. Silva +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis of novel heterocyclic [1,2,4]triazolo[3,4-b][1,3, 4]thiadiazine hybrids by a bimolecular reaction of 2-(4-amino-5-mercapto-4H-[1, 2, 4]-triazol-3-yl)phenol with an aromatic or heterocycyclic α-bromoacetyl derivatives is described.
Journal ArticleDOI
New glucosides from Eucalyptus globulus wood, bark and kraft pulps
Carmen S. R. Freire,Armando J. D. Silvestre,Artur M. S. Silva,Carlos Pascoal Neto,Pedro Domingues +4 more
TL;DR: This article reported the identification of several new glucoside type derivatives in Eucalyptus globulus wood and inner bark and discussed the behavior of the newly identified compounds during kraft pulping and ECF bleaching.
Journal ArticleDOI
Genista tridentata L.: A Rich Source of Flavonoids with Anti-inflammatory Activity.
TL;DR: It can be concluded that Genista tridentata is an excellent source of bioactive flavonoids, due to its traditional use to treat inflammation episodes, from which genistein, biochanin A, rutin, and daidzein can be emphasized.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bis(4-hydroxy-2H-chromen-2-one) Coumarin Induces Apoptosis in MCF-7 Human Breast Cancer Cells Through Aromatase Inhibition.
Lamia Hamdan Ramdani,Lamia Hamdan Ramdani,Oualid Talhi,Caroline Decombat,Marion Vermerie,A. Berry,Artur M. S. Silva,Khaldoun Bachari,Marie-Paule Vasson,Laetitia Delort,F. Caldefie-Chézet +10 more
TL;DR: 4HC selectively inhibits proliferation of MCF-7cells in vitro, and has inhibitory effects on aromatase gene expression and promoting effects on apoptosis, in MCf-7 cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
Olmesartan-Induced Sprue Like Enteropathy.
TL;DR: Two cases of sprue-like enteropathy are described in patients treated with olmesartan for arterial hypertension several years before the onset of symptoms, both of which had histological evidence of intestinal villous atrophy and completely resolved after drug withdrawal.
