Catharine R. Gale,Catharine R. Gale,Stuart J. Ritchie,Cyrus Cooper,John M. Starr,John M. Starr,Ian J. Deary +6 more
TL;DR: To investigate whether poorer cognitive ability is a risk factor for development of physical frailty and whether this risk varies according to cognitive domain, a large number of cases have been studied in the Netherlands.
Journal ArticleDOI
International management of bone health in glucocorticoid-exposed individuals in the observational GLOW study
S. Silverman,Jeffrey R. Curtis,Kenneth G. Saag,Julie M. Flahive,Jonathan D. Adachi,Frederick A. Anderson,Roland Chapurlat,Cyrus Cooper,Adolfo Diez-Perez,Susan L. Greenspan,Frederick H. Journal ArticleDOI
Quality Improvement Initiatives in Fragility Fracture Care and Prevention.
Paul J. Mitchell,Paul J. Mitchell,Cyrus Cooper,Masaki Fujita,P. Halbout,Kristina Åkesson,Kristina Åkesson,Matthew L. Costa,Karsten Dreinhöfer,Karsten Dreinhöfer,David Marsh,Joon-Kiong Lee,Ding-Cheng Derrick Chan,M Kassim Javaid,M Kassim Javaid +14 more
TL;DR: Improvements in the processes of care resulted in significant reductions in refracture risk and lower post-fracture mortality, and Active participation in these initiatives has the potential to eliminate current care gaps in the coming decade.
Journal ArticleDOI
The relationship between dietary quality and the local food environment differs according to level of educational attainment: A cross-sectional study
Christina Vogel,Daniel Lewis,Georgia Ntani,Steven Cummins,Cyrus Cooper,Cyrus Cooper,Graham Moon,Janis Baird +7 more

Journal ArticleDOI
Bone mineral status in immigrant Indo-Asian women.
G. Mehta,Patrick R. Taylor,Graham W. Petley,Elaine M. Dennison,Cyrus Cooper,Karen Walker-Bone +5 more
TL;DR: Although Indo-Asian women appear to have lower spinal BMD than Caucasians, these differences disappear when BMAD values are calculated, suggesting lower BMD values in Asians may be a size-related artefact.
