Combining Ancient DNA and Radiocarbon Dating Data to Increase Chronological Precision
TL;DR: It is found that many of these individuals could have their date ranges reduced by building in date of death separation constraints, and when combined, radiocarbon dating and ancient DNA analysis can provide a refined and richer view of the past.

TL;DR: It is shown that people of almost entirely Papuan ancestry had arrived in Vanuatu by 2400 BP, an event that coincided with the end of the Lapita cultural period, changes in skeletal morphology, and the cessation of long-distance trade between Near and Remote Oceania.
