Journal ArticleDOI
Single-spin resonance in a van der Waals embedded paramagnetic defect.
Nathan Chejanovsky,Nathan Chejanovsky,Amlan Mukherjee,Jianpei Geng,Yu-Chen Chen,Youngwook Kim,Youngwook Kim,Andrej Denisenko,Amit Finkler,Takashi Taniguchi,Kenji Watanabe,Durga Bhaktavatsala Rao Dasari,Philipp Auburger,Adam Gali,Jurgen H. Smet,Jörg Wrachtrup,Jörg Wrachtrup +16 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a set of isolated optical emitters embedded in hexagonal boron nitride that exhibit optically detected magnetic resonance is reported. But the properties of these single-photon emitters are unknown.
Journal ArticleDOI
Microwave-Assisted Cross-Polarization of Nuclear Spin Ensembles from Optically Pumped Nitrogen-Vacancy Centers in Diamond.
Farida Shagieva,Sebastian Zaiser,Philipp Neumann,Durga Bhaktavatsala Rao Dasari,Rainer Stöhr,Andrej Denisenko,Rolf Reuter,Carlos A. Meriles,Joerg Wrachtrup +8 more
TL;DR: Variable-magnetic-field, microwave-enabled cross-polarization from the NV electronic spin to protons in a model viscous fluid in contact with the diamond surface is demonstrated, suggesting slower molecular dynamics near the diamondsurface compared to that in bulk.
Journal ArticleDOI
Readout and control of an endofullerene electronic spin.
Dinesh Pinto,Domenico Paone,Domenico Paone,Bastian Kern,Tim Dierker,René Wieczorek,Aparajita Singha,Durga Bhaktavatsala Rao Dasari,Amit Finkler,Amit Finkler,Wolfgang Harneit,Jörg Wrachtrup,Jörg Wrachtrup,Klaus Kern,Klaus Kern +14 more
TL;DR: This work demonstrates radio-frequency pulse controlled Rabi oscillations and measure spin-echos on an encapsulated spin, and modeling the results using second-order perturbation theory reveals an enhanced hyperfine interaction and zero-field splitting, possibly caused by surface adsorption on diamond.
Journal ArticleDOI
Narrow inhomogeneous distribution of spin-active emitters in silicon carbide
Roland Nagy,Roland Nagy,Durga Bhaktavatsala Rao Dasari,Charles Babin,Di Liu,Vadim V. Vorobyov,Matthias Niethammer,Matthias Widmann,Tobias Linkewitz,Izel Gediz,Rainer Stöhr,Heiko B. Weber,Takeshi Ohshima,Misagh Ghezellou,Nguyen Tien Son,Jawad Ul-Hassan,Florian Kaiser,Jörg Wrachtrup +17 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate that silicon vacancy centers in semiconductor silicon carbide (SiC) provide a remarkably small distribution of their optical absorption/emission lines despite an elevated defect concentration of ≈ 043 μ m − 3.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cyclic cooling of quantum systems at the saturation limit
Sebastian Zaiser,Chun Tung Cheung,Sen Yang,Durga Bhaktavatsala Rao Dasari,Sadegh Raeisi,Jörg Wrachtrup +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the experimental saturation of the HBAC limit for single nuclear spins, beyond any available polarization in solid-state spin system, the Nitrogen-Vacancy centers in diamond, was verified.
