Tunnel-effect power converter

TL;DR: In this article, a tunnel-effect power converter including first and second electrodes having opposite surfaces is described. And the first electrode includes protrusions extending towards the second electrode. But this is not the case in this paper.
Book ChapterDOI

Model Assisted Creativity Sessions for the Design of Mixed Interactive Systems: a Protocol Analysis

TL;DR: An original approach to interaction design, called MACS, aims to combine the best elements of both a model of mixed interaction, and a collaborative and creative session to support the exploration of the design space, and to establish a common language between participants.
Journal ArticleDOI

NANOSIL network of excellence-silicon-based nanostructures and nanodevices for long-term nanoelectronics applications

TL;DR: The NANOSIL Network of Excellence as mentioned in this paper, which was established by the European Commission in the 7th Framework Programme (ICT-FP7, no 216171), aims at European scale integration of the excellent European research laboratories and their capabilities in order to strengthen scientific and technological excellence in the field of nanoelectronic materials and devices for terascale integrated circuits (ICs), and to disseminating the results in a wide scientific and industrial community.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

DichotoZoom: selection technique in a 3D virtual environment displayed on smartphone

TL;DR: This study shows the effectiveness of DichotoZoom when the set contain significantly numerous elements, and studied its use with various interaction modalities used on Smartphone : using physical or graphical buttons, and gestural interactions via touch screen or moving the device itself.
Book ChapterDOI

TouchGlass: Raycasting from a Glass Surface to Point at Physical Objects in Public Exhibits

TL;DR: The results show that using a ray orthogonal to the glass surface is the most natural approach in a public setting, and provide a set of guidelines to design interactive exhibits using a touch glass case.
