Discovery of the topological surface state in a noncentrosymmetric superconductor BiPd
Madhab Neupane,Nasser Alidoust,Su-Yang Xu,Ilya Belopolski,Daniel S. Sanchez,Tay-Rong Chang,Horng-Tay Jeng,Hsin Lin,Arun Bansil,Dariusz Kaczorowski,M. Zahid Hasan,Tomasz Durakiewicz +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a high-resolution angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) study of the normal state electronic properties of BiPd was performed and the experimental results showed the presence of a surface state at higher binding energy with the location of Dirac point at around 700 meV below the Fermi level.
