Controlled Synthesis of Organic/Inorganic van der Waals Solid for Tunable Light-Matter Interactions.
Lin Niu,Xinfeng Liu,Chunxiao Cong,Chunyang Wu,Di Wu,Tay-Rong Chang,Hong Wang,Qingsheng Zeng,Jiadong Zhou,Xingli Wang,Wei Fu,Peng Yu,Qundong Fu,Sina Najmaei,Zhuhua Zhang,Boris I. Yakobson,Beng Kang Tay,Wu Zhou,Horng-Tay Jeng,Hsin Lin,Tze Chien Sum,Chuanhong Jin,Haiyong He,Ting Yu,Zheng Liu +24 more
TL;DR: In this article, high quality organic and inorganic van der Waals (vdW) solids are realized using methylammonium lead halide (CH3 NH3 PbI3 ) as the organic part (organic perovskite) and 2D inorganic monolayers as counterparts.

TL;DR: High-quality organic and inorganic van der Waals solids are realized using methylammonium lead halide as the organic part and 2D inorganic monolayers as counterparts to exhibit dramatically different light emissions.

Devereaux,Zhi-Xun Shen +30 more
TL;DR: In this article, angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy has been used to identify energy scales of the many-body interactions in correlated materials, focused on binding energies of up to a few hundred meV below the Fermi energy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic-tunnelling-induced Weyl node annihilation in TaP
Chenglong Zhang,Su-Yang Xu,C. M. Wang,Ziquan Lin,Z. Z. Du,Z. Z. Du,Cheng Guo,Chi-Cheng Lee,Hong Lu,Yiyang Feng,Shin-Ming Huang,Shin-Ming Huang,Guoqing Chang,Chuang-Han Hsu,Haiwen Liu,Hsin Lin,Liang Li,Chi Zhang,Jinglei Zhang,Xincheng Xie,Titus Neupert,M. Zahid Hasan,Hai-Zhou Lu,Junfeng Wang,Shuang Jia +24 more
TL;DR: In three-dimensional metals, topological objects known as Weyl nodes can arise from a crossing of the conduction and valence bands as discussed by the authors, and experiments under high magnetic fields show how weyl nodes of opposite chiralities can move together to annihilate.

Topological semimetals and topological insulators in rare earth monopnictides
Minggang Zeng,Chen Fang,Guoqing Chang,Yu-An Chen,Timothy H. Hsieh,Arun Bansil,Hsin Lin,Liang Fu +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a new type of topological band crossing termed ''linked nodal rings'' is found in rare earth rare earth monopnictides when the small spin-orbital coupling (SOC) on nitrogen orbitals is neglected.
