Journal ArticleDOI
Quasiparticle Interference on Cubic Perovskite Oxide Surfaces.
Yoshinori Okada,Shiue Yuan Shiau,Tay-Rong Chang,Tay-Rong Chang,Guoqing Chang,Masaki Kobayashi,Ryota Shimizu,Horng-Tay Jeng,Horng-Tay Jeng,Susumu Shiraki,Hiroshi Kumigashira,Arun Bansil,Hsin Lin,Taro Hitosugi,Taro Hitosugi +14 more
TL;DR: It is shown that the apical oxygens on the topmost VO_{2} plane play a critical role in controlling the coherent surface state via modulating orbital state.
Book ChapterDOI
Topological Phases of Quantum Matter
TL;DR: In this article, the role of topology in generating exotic topological phases of quantum matter is discussed, including 2D quantum spin-Hall insulators, 3D topological insulators and topological crystalline insulators.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nanoscale determination of the mass enhancement factor in the lightly doped bulk insulator lead selenide
Ilija Zeljkovic,Kane Scipioni,Daniel Walkup,Yoshinori Okada,Yoshinori Okada,Wenwen Zhou,Raman Sankar,Guoqing Chang,Yung Jui Wang,Hsin Lin,Arun Bansil,Fangcheng Chou,Ziqiang Wang,Vidya Madhavan,Vidya Madhavan +14 more
TL;DR: A method to directly extract the Eliashberg function using Landau level spectroscopy is constructed, and its applicability to lightly doped thermoelectric bulk insulator PbSe is demonstrated, opening up a new pathway for investigating the local effects of doping and strain on the mass enhancement factor.
Journal ArticleDOI
Topological superconductor in quasi-one-dimensional Tl 2 − x Mo 6 Se 6
Shin-Ming Huang,Chuang-Han Hsu,Su-Yang Xu,Chi-Cheng Lee,Shiue-Yuan Shiau,Hsin Lin,Hsin Lin,Arun Bansil +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the quasi-one-dimensional molybdenum selenide compound Tl2-xMo6Se6 is shown to be a topological superconductor induced by inter-sublattice pairing, even in the absence of spin-orbit coupling (SOC).
Journal ArticleDOI
Saddle-like topological surface states on the T T ′ X family of compounds ( T , T ′ = Transition metal, X = Si , Ge)
TL;DR: In this paper, the presence of topological nodal-line semimetal states in the low crystalline symmetric ZrPtGe was identified based on first-principles calculations and an effective model analysis.
