Two‐ and Three‐Hybrid Systems

TL;DR: This review discusses the classic yeast two-hybrid method (and its derivatives) and how this method continues to provide insight into the number of protein–protein partnerships in a cell, and emerging ways of minimizing the impact of these limitations using microarrays and mass spectrometry.
Journal ArticleDOI

Molecular recognition of pathological tau fibril conformations

TL;DR: This paper showed that fibrils adopt unique tauopathy-dependent conformations that differ from those of heparin-induced recombinant tau-fibrils in vitro, and an understanding of the cellular factors driving conformation-specific fibrillization is hampered by a lack of tools for determining fibril conformation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Abstract 4606: Heat shock proteins in immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment

TL;DR: Alkan et al. as discussed by the authors showed that upregulation of A20 in TNBC subtype in response to TNFα protects these cells from cytotoxic cell death by upregulating HSP70 protein and maintaining EMT/CSC phenotype.
