Thromboses in tuberculosis are linked to antiphosphatidylethanolamine antibodies levels: A cross-sectional study

TL;DR: In a cohort of 48 patients with tuberculosis, 22.9% of them presented with venous thromboses significantly associated with dose dependent level of antiphosphophatidyl-ethanolamine antibodies, which is associated with circulating anticoagulant.

TL;DR: In this article , a large multinational study of people with diabetes mellitus hospitalized for COVID-19 demonstrates that previous macrovascular disease is associated with higher mortality and lower proportions admitted to ICU and treated with IMV during hospitalization suggesting selective admission criteria.
