Finite-key analysis for time-energy high-dimensional quantum key distribution
TL;DR: This work provides a rigorous HD-QKD security proof for general attacks in the finite-key regime using a novel entropic uncertainty relation that is derived for time and conjugate-time measurements using dispersive optics, and the analysis includes an efficient decoy-state protocol in its parameter estimation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Diffraction-limited atmospheric imaging of extended objects*
TL;DR: In this article, it is shown that an atmosphere-lens system behaves macroscopically as though it consisted microscopically of a collection of uncorrelated scatterers with random scattering strengths which contribute image components with varying spatial and spatial-frequency displacements.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electromagnetic channel capacity for practical purposes
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors considered the problem of determining the classical communication capacities of Gaussian bosonic channels by determining upper and lower bounds for the classical capacities of important active and passive channels.
Journal ArticleDOI
Security-proof framework for two-way Gaussian quantum-key-distribution protocols
Quntao Zhuang,Zheshen Zhang,Zheshen Zhang,Norbert Lütkenhaus,Norbert Lütkenhaus,Jeffrey H. Shapiro +5 more
TL;DR: A security proof framework for the general coherent attack on two-way Gaussian protocols in the asymptotic regime is established and it is proved that coherent-attack security can be reduced to collective- attack security for all two- way QKD protocols.
