Achieving circularly polarized luminescence and large piezoelectric response in hybrid rare-earth double perovskite by a chirality induction strategy.

TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper introduced chirality into hybrid rare-earth double perovskites (HREDPs) and successfully designed and synthesized a pair of enantiomeric three-dimensional (3D) HREDPs, which possess ferroelasticity, multiaxial ferroelectricity, high quantum yields (84.71% and 83.55%), and long fluorescence lifetimes (5.404 and 5.256 ms, respectively).
