TL;DR: It is found in all three organisms that the gene-expression levels, both coding and non-coding, can be quantitatively predicted from chromatin features at the promoter using a ‘universal model’ based on a single set of organism-independent parameters.

TL;DR: By using cell-specific, whole-genome profiling strategies, a large number of novel transcripts are detected and high-resolution gene expression maps are produced that provide a basis for establishing the roles of individual genes in cellular differentiation.

TL;DR: This work reveals a developmental switch in which motor neuron input is defined by differential expression of transcription factors that select alternative presynaptic partners, and shows that expression of CEH-12 in VA motor neurons in unc-4 mutants imposes VB-type inputs.
