Non-separable spatiotemporal brain hemodynamics contain neural information
TL;DR: This study provides direct empirical evidence that non-separable spatiotemporal deconvolutions of multivariate fMRI time series predict intracortical neural signals better than standard canonical HRF models.

SE(3)-equivariant prediction of molecular wavefunctions and electronic densities
Oliver T. Unke,Mihail Bogojeski,Michael Gastegger,Mario Geiger,Tess Smidt,Klaus-Robert Müller +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed an equivariant framework for deep learning on point cloud data and applied it to reconstruct wavefunctions of atomistic systems with unprecedented accuracy, reducing prediction errors by up to two orders of magnitude compared to the previous state-of-the-art.

Journal ArticleDOI
Diffeomorphic Counterfactuals with Generative Models
TL;DR: This work performs a suitable diffeomorphic coordinate transformation and performs gradient ascent in these coordinates to generate counterfactuals which are classed with great confidence as a speci⬁ed target class.
Book ChapterDOI
Using Reduce for Replica Calculations
TL;DR: The REDUCE package REPPACK for performing replica calculations in the context of neural networks is presented and the application of REPPack is demonstrated for the toy example of finitely many patterns for the Hopfield model.
