Adenanthin targets peroxiredoxin I and II to induce differentiation of leukemic cells
Chuan-Xu Liu,Qian-Qian Yin,Huchen Zhou,Ying-Li Wu,Jian-Xin Pu,Li Xia,Wei Liu,Xin Huang,Tao Jiang,Mingxuan Wu,Licai He,Yaxue Zhao,Xiao-lin Wang,Wei-Lie Xiao,Hong-Zhuan Chen,Qian Zhao,Aiwu Zhou,Li-Shun Wang,Han-Dong Sun,Guo-Qiang Chen +19 more
TL;DR: Adenanthin can serve as what is to the authors' knowledge the first lead natural compound for the development of Prx I- and Prx II-targeted therapeutic agents, which may represent a promising approach to inducing differentiation of APL cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
LILRB4 signalling in leukaemia cells mediates T cell suppression and tumour infiltration
Mi Deng,Xun Gui,Jaehyup Kim,Li Xie,Weina Chen,Zunling Li,Zunling Li,Licai He,Licai He,Yuanzhi Chen,Yuanzhi Chen,Heyu Chen,Weiguang Luo,Weiguang Luo,Zhigang Lu,Zhigang Lu,Jingjing Xie,Jingjing Xie,Hywyn Churchill,Yixiang Xu,Zhan Zhou,Guojin Wu,Chenyi Yu,Chenyi Yu,Samuel John,Kouyuki Hirayasu,Nam X. Lewis,Guo-Qiang Chen,Yang Xin Fu,X. Charlene Liao,Zhiqiang An,Junke Zheng,Ningyan Zhang,Cheng Cheng Zhang +54 more
TL;DR: It is shown that LILRB4, an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibition motif-containing receptor and a marker of monocytic leukaemia, supports tumour cell infiltration into tissues and suppresses T cell activity via a signalling pathway that involves APOE, LIL RB4, SHP-2, uPAR and ARG1 in acute myeloid leukaemis (AML) cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
LILRB4 ITIMs mediate the T cell suppression and infiltration of acute myeloid leukemia cells.
Zunling Li,Mi Deng,Fangfang Huang,Fangfang Huang,Changzhu Jin,Shuang Sun,Heyu Chen,Xiaoye Liu,Licai He,Licai He,Ali H. Sadek,Cheng Cheng Zhang +11 more
TL;DR: The in vitro and in vivo data show that Y 412 and Y 442 , but not Y 360, of LILRB4 are required for T-cell inhibition, and all three ITIMs are needed for leukemia cell infiltration.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ikaros is degraded by proteasome-dependent mechanism in the early phase of apoptosis induction
Licai He,Hanzhang Xu,Zhimin Gu,Chuan-Xu Liu,Guo-Qiang Chen,Guo-Qiang Chen,Yue-Fei Wang,Dong-Hua Wen,Ying-Li Wu +8 more
TL;DR: It is found that chemotherapeutic drugs or ultraviolet radiation treatment could reduce the expression of full-length Ikaros (IK1) protein in less than 3h in leukemic NB4, Kasumi-1 and Jurkat cells, prior to the activation of caspase-3.
Journal ArticleDOI
