Journal ArticleDOI

Both products of the mouse INK4a/ARF locus suppress melanoma formation in vivo

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that loss of either Ink4a/Arf product can cooperate with RAS activation to produce clinically indistinguishable melanomas and that p16INK4a and p19ARF cooperate to suppress the development of melanoma in vivo.
Journal ArticleDOI

Balanced‐PCR amplification allows unbiased identification of genomic copy changes in minute cell and tissue samples

TL;DR: Comparison of balanced-PCR with multiple displacement amplification (MDA) demonstrates equivalent performance between the two when intact genomic DNA is used, and balanced PCR overcomes problems associated with modest DNA degradation and produces unbiased amplification whereas MDA does not.
Journal ArticleDOI

Double Minute Chromosomes in Glioblastoma Multiforme Are Revealed by Precise Reconstruction of Oncogenic Amplicons

TL;DR: It is found that circular assemblies are the most parsimonious explanation for a set of highly amplified tumor regions in a subset of glioblastoma multiforme samples sequenced by The Cancer Genome Atlas consortium, revealing evidence for double minute chromosomes in these tumors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Erratum: Integrative Genomic Analysis of Cholangiocarcinoma Identifies Distinct IDH-Mutant Molecular Profiles (Cell Reports (2017) 18(11) (2780–2794) (S2211124717302140) (10.1016/j.celrep.2017.02.033))
