Journal ArticleDOI

Plasma-liquid interactions: A review and roadmap

TL;DR: A review of the state-of-the-art of this multidisciplinary area and identifying the key research challenges is provided in this paper, where the developments in diagnostics, modeling and further extensions of cross section and reaction rate databases are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Concepts, Capabilities, and Limitations of Global Models: A Review

TL;DR: This paper gives a tutorial on global modeling, including development and techniques, and provides a discussion on the issues and pitfalls that researchers should be aware of.
Journal ArticleDOI

Absolute ozone densities in a radio-frequency driven atmospheric pressure plasma using two-beam UV-LED absorption spectroscopy and numerical simulations

TL;DR: In this paper, the absolute densities of ozone, one of the most prominent reactive oxygen species (ROS) were measured across the 11 mm wide discharge channel by means of broadband absorption spectroscopy using the Hartley band centered at 255 nm.
Journal ArticleDOI

Controlled production of atomic oxygen and nitrogen in a pulsed radio-frequency atmospheric-pressure plasma

TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate the controlled production of highly reactive atomic oxygen and nitrogen in a pulsed radio-frequency (13.56 MHz) atmospheric-pressure plasma, operated with a small 0.1 % air-like admixture (N2/O2 at 4 : 1) through variations in the duty cycle.
