Journal ArticleDOI

Spectral Searching by Fourier-Phase Correlation

TL;DR: In this article, the phase components of Fourier transforms of both the sample and the reference spectra are used for spectral identification, which has essentially a very high discrimination ability for distinguishing between similar spectra and is very resistant to the peak height variation and the peak position shift due to the experimental conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation, crystal structures and spectroscopic properties of vanadium(III) complexes with [V–O–V]4+ cores

TL;DR: In this article, the 1H NMR spectrum of a vanadium-III complex is described and its analogs have been measured and assigned, in which two vanadium ions are coupled antiferromagnetically.
Journal ArticleDOI

Image contrast enhancement for two-photon fluorescence microscopy in a turbid medium.

TL;DR: Image contrast enhancement is investigated for two-photon excitation fluorescence images of a microscopic sample that is buried underneath a turbid medium using the TEM(00) mode according to a compensation relation that has been derived by use of a Monte Carlo analysis of the scattering problem.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dendrimer adjusted nanocrystals of DAST: organic crystal with enhanced nonlinear optical properties

TL;DR: Organic crystals of trans-4-[4-(dimethylamino)-N-methylstilbazolium] p-tosylate with enhanced nonlinear optical properties were successfully prepared at the nanometre scale due to the influence of a carbosiloxane dendrimer (CSiO-D).
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, structure and magnetic properties of pyrazolate-bridged dinuclear complexes [{M(NCS)(4-Phpy)}2(μ-bpypz)2] (M = Co2+ and Fe2+)

TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis and magnetic characterization of pyrazolato-bridged dinuclear complexes [{M(NCS)(4-Phpy)}2(μ-BPypz)2] (Hbpypz = 3,5-bis(2-pyridyl)-pyrazole; 4Phpy = 4-phenylpyridine; M = Co2+(1) and Fe2+ (2)) are described together with the X-ray crystal analysis of the cobalt complex.
