Journal ArticleDOI
Swift XRT observations of the afterglow of GRB 050319
Giancarlo Cusumano,Vanessa Mangano,Lorella Angelini,Lorella Angelini,Scott Barthelmy,Andrew P. Beardmore,David N. Burrows,Sergio Campana,John K. Cannizzo,Milvia Capalbi,Guido Chincarini,Guido Chincarini,Neil Gehrels,Paolo Giommi,Michael R. Goad,Joanne E. Hill,J. A. Kennea,Shiho Kobayashi,Valentina La Parola,D. Malesani,Peter Mészáros,Teresa Mineo,Alberto Moretti,John A. Nousek,P. T. O'Brien,J. P. Osborne,C. Pagani,C. Pagani,K. L. Page,M. Perri,P. Romano,Gianpiero Tagliaferri,Bing Zhang +32 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the afterglow X-ray emission was monitored by the XRT up to 28 days after the GRB burst, and the spectral energy distribution before and after the second break was tentatively interpreted as a jet break or the end of a delayed or continuous energy injection phase.
Journal ArticleDOI
Variability and spectral energy distributions of low-luminosity active galactic nuclei: a simultaneous X-ray/UV look with Swift
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors have observed four low-luminosity active galactic nuclei classified as Type 1 LINERs with the X-ray Telescope (XRT) and the UltraViolet-Optical Telescope (UVOT) onboard Swift.
Journal ArticleDOI
Swift XRT Observations of the Afterglow of XRF 050416A
Vanessa Mangano,Valentina La Parola,Giancarlo Cusumano,Teresa Mineo,D. Malesani,Jaroslaw Dyks,Sergio Campana,Milvia Capalbi,Guido Chincarini,Paolo Giommi,Alberto Moretti,M. Perri,P. TL;DR: In this paper, the X-ray afterglow was observed with the Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) for 74 days after the burst of XRF 050416A and the spectral evolution from a softer emission with photon index 3:0 to a harder emission with 2:0 during the following evolutionary phases.
