TL;DR: Results from the first genome-wide association meta-analysis of FMD including 1962 FMD cases and 7100 controls identified positive genetic correlations with blood pressure, migraine and intracranial aneurysm, and an inverse correlation with coronary artery disease, independent from the genetics of blood pressure.

Integrating spatial transcriptomics data across different conditions, technologies, and developmental stages
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper developed a graph attention neural network STAligner for integrating and aligning spatial transcriptomics (ST) datasets, enabling spatially-aware data integration, simultaneous spatial domain identification, and downstream comparative analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Class III phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (Vps34) is essential for radial neuronal migration in the developing neocortex
TL;DR: The results suggest that the regulation of endocytosis plays an essential role for radial neuronal migration in the rodent neocortex.

Normalization of Single Cell RNA Sequencing Data Using both Control and Target Genes
Mengjie Chen,Xiang Zhou +1 more
TL;DR: This work develops an alternative statistical method, which it refers to as scPLS, for more accurate inference of confounding effects, based on partial least squares and models control and target genes jointly to better infer and control for confounding effects.
